We at Heart of America HMGS had the privelige of seeing many of Duke's
presentations at our conventions in Kansas City over the years.
Duke presented Babylon in 2003 and his Medieval in the Square in 2007, KCGF in 2009.

Richard A. Nance Jr, founding member of the Heart of America Historical Miniature Gaming Society, passed away Monday, September 25th 2017.
Cause of death was a heart attack while driving near Dover Kansas.

He and Scott Hansen founded the Borderland Game & Hobby store in Kansas City.

...it was twenty years ago today...
that the Heart of
America Historical Miniature Gaming Society held our first convention in
1987. It's been 20 years and 4 (or is it 5?) versions of Command Decision since then, and
we're still going strong.
