- Randy Welk led his Big Cats to a league leading 127 win season
behind the bat of Barry Bonds and then won the WTBL world series
in 7 games over Lorne Golden's Canadian Kommandos.
2001 - The Miami Riots (tm 18)
- Scott Ferron and his Riots repeated as league champions
beating Greg Days Halifax Mooseheads. Full

2000 - The Miami Riots (tm 18)
- Scott Ferron took over this struggling franchise and in one
year with shrewd drafting and trading turned it into the WTBL
champion beating The Love Canal Possum (tm 9).
1999 - Rockford Rangers (tm 7)
- Congrats to Darrin Davis and the Rockford Rangers who have won
the 1999 WTBL World Series sweeping the Eugene Emeralds (tm 5).
The Rangers beat the Weasels (tm 6) in the first round and then
beat the Blues (tm 20) in 6 games to reach the series. The
Emeralds defeated the Rockets (tm 19) and the Swords (tm 1) en
route to their meeting with the Rangers.
